Atomic Tournaments
Soccer tournaments provide a great opportunity for soccer clubs to showcase their skills and compete against teams from different regions and levels. Tournaments bring together players and fans, creating a sense of community and camaraderie.
Tournaments are typically held between June to August (the summer season) and November – March (the winter season). Each team will have its own tournament schedule and overlap 2 tournaments a year that the club will attend together as a unit.
Tournament fees are not included in club fees.
The average cost for players to participate in UYSA (Utah Youth Soccer Association) and GotSoccer tournaments varies by age group.
The registration fee per tournament for players aged 8 and under is typically around $200-$300 per team, while for players aged 9-12, it’s around $400-$500 per team, and for players aged 13-18, the cost can range from $450 to $800+ per team.
It’s important to note that these costs may vary depending on factors such as the location of the tournament, the number of games, and the level of competition.
After tryouts, soccer coaches will evaluate the skill levels of each player and then set tournament schedules that best fit the various skill levels of the established teams. Tournament schedules will be posted to teams for the full year within 30 days of established teams.
Coaches will typically aim to enter teams into tournaments that match the appropriate level of competition for their players. For example, more experienced players may be entered into tournaments with higher levels of competition, while newer or less experienced players may compete in tournaments with lower levels of competition. Coaches will also consider factors such as the location, duration, and cost of the tournament when selecting which ones to enter.
Our soccer club will attend tournaments as a group – which has several benefits. By traveling together, we can save on costs, such as transportation and lodging, by splitting the expenses among the team. Additionally, traveling together can help to build unity and foster team spirit.
By attending tournaments, players have the opportunity to bond and get to know each other better, both on and off the field. This can lead to improved communication and teamwork during games, as well as a greater sense of support and encouragement for each other.
Moreover, attending tournaments as a group can help to create a shared sense of purpose and pride in representing our club. By wearing our team jerseys and displaying our club name, we can show our commitment and dedication to our club and our sport.
